Frank Ocean or The Weeknd?

I think I enjoy Weekend a bit more casually.. he become more mainstream so it's lighter in a way.. Frank artistically is just on a different level (imo).. his shyt is just really dense; blonde was really experimental in a way that wasn't pretentious and that's surprising to find these day when music's become so mundane.. He's a better singer than weekend to.. a lot more gifted vocally with a good range. Musicianship better in terms of production and songwriting is on a different level.. Weekend's trilogy days were stronger. ..starboy was good, nothing groundbreaking, though.

I love the weeknd dude is amazing Trilogy is legendary but as of 2017 his drugged out fukkery has gotten a little corny I still enjoy it though. It's apparent as long as max Martin is alive weeknd is gonna be more pop heavy which isn't a bad thing either. But......

Frank ocean is by far the better songwriter and it's not close. Nostalgia Ultra is perfectly written and executed and he keeps getting better. I really enjoyed blond more than BBTM and Starboy

I like him but I'm not a big Frank Ocean fan. I get his appeal and his talent but I don't really enjoy him that much. Abel is that nikka though...from the first time I heard him til now, very few songs of his that I dislike outright.

Trilogy Weeknd is legendary, but he's fallen off since then...Frank pen keeps gettin stronger imo...Blond was better than anything Weeknd's dropped since Trilogy and CO is the best out of all their works combines, so i'm rollin with Frank...

Basically this. As someone who at one point was a hardcore weekend stan, he's honestly not seeing Frank right now and hasn't been for a very long time. Abel peaked in 2011-2012. Frank is still improving.
