What people tend to forget is Meek Mill just put out a TWEET dissing Drake and Drake dropped not one but TWO dis songs and MEEK had nothing. That's why he was pressured to respond because how to be dissing on Twitter but don't have a dis record out?

Pusha is DIFFERENT because he dropped 1st and Drake responded. Not the oth er way around with Meek Mill.

True... ultimately these dudes can do whatever they feel, they just have to live with the consequences... If Pusha is cool with how things have played out, after a decade of all that God MC talk and all that sneak dissing he's comfortable with getting ate by Aubrey and laughed at by the rap populace and by OGs and his peers...then by all means he can take his sweet lil time and respond with a cutesy subliminal a year and a half from now like he's been doing...just don't expect anyone to care or take it seriously...all that "Oooooh Drake don't want it with Push shyt is dead"... Half his mystique of a delusional nikka that thinks in his own head he's Hov is done for

Dudes simultaneously saying drake dont write but 24 hours is too long for a real rapper to reply. :mjlol: More time = more time to collab, edit tracks, change shyt.

Drake dropped a layered, lyrcially dope reply to a diss track that released less than 24 hours prior with multiple refrences to it. it speaks much more to him being the better writer. nikkas can crack jokes about about tents n shyt to avoid the reality that it takes longer than 12 hours to doctor a mastered track all for another nikka.

Coli nikkas would rather beleive drake teleported qm hush and 100 other dudes into a studio the moment infrared dropped and they all crafted the song for him to record in a day rather than drake just penning it like he did multiple disses before this . :mjlol: yall boys will convince yourselves of anything to hate lol. We getting pizzagate levels of delusional

Now that we got that out of the way, Gibbs is on some dumb shyt with this. 99.99% of diss records would be invalidated if this was true.

And before people come in here talking about "b bu but new rules!"...."War Pain" came out a year after "Back To Back" and this was the response:

Keep in mind Drake stans claimed "Back To Back" made the public completely forget about Meek....yet 3+ years later the public treated him like Nelson Mandela when he got locked up.

So nah....in the grand scheme of things this doesn't matter at all.

Fred.

i think it was more the calculated timing, than the song itself..

everyone was so gassed about Pusha T sh!t, the LAST thing they expected was an immediate response.. that sh!t was quick, and Pusha just got caught lackin.. now, he cant exchange the same energy..

how you gonna talk all that fly sh!t about somebody.. go on a media run, and think sh!t is sweet..? not to mention the fact, Drake kept it hip-hop.. wasnt on Twitter/IG making idle threats.. didnt release a snippet.. he exchanged bars, and immediately.. in the grand scheme of things, that puts him one up.. :whoo:

I don't have a problem with people saying Drake is 1-up, or has the better song. The problems I got are way bigger than that.

Rap in 2018 is already disposable as fukk, it sets a dangerous precedent to say cats gotta respond in 24 hours. Rap beefs used to be chess, they're trying to turn this shyt into tennis.

Matter of fact, it's bigger than rap. Social media and the internet in general have already destroyed any sense of anticipation for literally anything....but nah, let's put something else on the clock. Cats gotta respond faster than it takes milk to expire. :mjlol:

No, because Drake's Duppy shyt was WEAK AF in large part that it was rushed. Having him or someone write some shyt doesn't mean it was hop. It clearly sounded unmastered, it used a lazy sample loop which can be created in matter of minutes and he spitted as if he was reading DIRECTLY from his phone or paper. Had no "oomph" to it at all. No passion. No flow inflection. No even as concise. And I am not saying the rhyme itself is weak, but the PERFORMANCE was clearly rushed. Had Drake WAITED and put it on the album next month, you would of heard a REAL SOLID and mastered and complete dis track that he would profited from and it would of been MORE damaging for not just Pusha-T or Kanye but the entire GOOD movement of releases that same month.

Y'all too much caught off the hype to which be quickly forgotten when the Kanye fukkery goes full swing next week. It isn't a great dis at all, just the hype machine working overtime.

Drakes legacy when it comes to rap is ruined. Pusha will be fine dude drops music every 3.5 years

Sneak diss a nikka for the better part of a decade, go on a promo tour for your album where the very first topic of conversation at every stop is that other nikka's name, get your ass lit on fire by the same nikka you've been obsessed with, and "need time to respond" brehs
why does Pusha HAVE to respond within a set amount of time? when has that ever been a rule? this just seems like some arbitrary rule designed just to shyt on drake's opponents. it shouldnt matter if it comes now or weeks from now. a response is a response.
