Gibbs sends out like 25 tweets a day but the day they beefing and supposedly saw him or whatever he tweeted like 5 times .

Either Something went on behind the scenes , or he didn't wanna fued the beef on twitter.

If something went on behind the scenes tho there would probably be footage..it's 2014....but not everything gets recorded...who knows

Maybe he was just busy before, during, and after the show.

Why dudes acting like Gibbs is hard all of a sudden? :mjlol:

I dunno if he's hard :manny: but he did exactly what he said he would do. He clowned them for getting beaten up/robbed in their own city....said it wouldn't happen to him....and it didn't. All that other shyt is for the birds.

It really is that simple too. Matter fact, so what if he did get Trick Trick to hold him down. All that says to me is that Gibbs is gettin love and respect from whom it matters most in Detroit. I guess Doughboyz ain't as thorough as they'd like us to believe. A Gary n!gga more connected than Cashout in his own city. That sh!t has gotta hurt. On another note, I really don't take the "he probably paid Trick Trick" talk too serious. Gibbs been grinding a long time now and probably has broken bread throughout a lotta cities. Plus Gary is just a hop, skip, and a jump from Detroit. Wouldn't surprise me if Gibbs connections with Detroit are deeper than rap.

If he paid Trick it's actually worse, because that means any out-of-tower can clown the fukk out of local acts. If that's all it takes is money.

What doesn't add up to me is, regardless of whether or not he got a pass, or paid, Trick did absolutely nothing to help his home team rappers be taken seriously. He could've said "hey man, you can perform, but you need to apologize to them"....anything. Instead he chilled with Gibbs and posted a vague tweet about people need to stop thugging on Twitter.

And the cats he dissed never even mentioned "oh, he was copping pleas to Trick, he asked us to fall back". That shyt started on the internet.

You know n!ggas can't stick together. I hear you though, it's sad, but another case of art mimicking life. We cut each other down or out before we support, assist, and salute. Everybody wants to be saluted, but nobody wants to close ranks and support. Detroit's Hip Hop scene is a reflection of their streets. Fuggin typical. From the perspective of someone that loves this music and culture, I'd like to see Detroit make their mark. Between Awesome Dre, Em, Royce, Esham, to the newer generation of Big Sean, Danny Brown and Cashout Boyz, I'd like to see Detroit do their thing and be remembered appropriately too.

Have to say, I agree with Trick on that Twitter beef nonsense. I hate all that beefin for publicity. In this day and age where media captures just about everything, it's taken the anticipation out of subliminals and shots fired. Its just typical nowadays.

No it isn't, no it doesn't, and money is all it's ever been about.

What doesn't add up to me is, regardless of whether or not he got a pass, or paid, Trick did absolutely nothing to help his home team rappers be taken seriously.

How do you know this? And where does this coincide with your "facts only" standpoint? Oh...I get it. That only applies when it falls in line with your bias.

And it adds up perfectly. Gibbs makes a comment about rap acts in Detroit get beat up in their own city, but bet if he can't come through and get respect off top. Adding to that, he insinuated that he would speak on certain people and his arrival would mean something towards certain people when he touched down.

Contrary to all the talk before hand, Gibbs did exactly what everyone does when they come to Detroit, which was a much more typical end result then was instigated beforehand. During which, none of the internet or physical commentary that was insinuated would happen, happened. Crickets.

Added to that, Nickle and Trick Trick physically show up at the show, which I personally thought was an interesting touch. Speculation would say that out of respect for certain people inside nothing popped off inside, but once outside allegedly some hiding was going on. Allegedly, because we're still on the "facts only" part of the segment right?

He could've said "hey man, you can perform, but you need to apologize to them"....anything. Instead he chilled with Gibbs and posted a vague tweet about people need to stop thugging on Twitter.

Why would Trick Trick do that? It would be pandering which in turn makes him look bad at the end of the day.

And the cats he dissed never even mentioned "oh, he was copping pleas to Trick, he asked us to fall back". That shyt started on the internet.

Fred.

How do you know that's not what happened behind the scenes? Oh, because no one said anything on twitter to confirm that's what happened? Lol that's a bit ironic of you don't you think?

So let me get this straight: One minute you're reprimanding Detroit for having a city-wide hierarchy where a captain gets treated like a captain then the next you're campaigning for Detroit unity?

Funny.

One last thing: Let me just say I respect Gibbs as an artist, and I have no reason to believe he's someone that should not be respected, either as a rapper or a person. But there comes a time when logic should supersede being a fan of someone.

haters will always find a way to spin everything into an L

DBCO threatened to show up at the venue and cause havoc.. saying they were gonna show up with some "real detroit nikkas"

they showed up with their "real detroit nikkas" and not a thing happened to a soul..not a bullet was popped and no beatdowns even came close to happening..gibbs performed untouched got his money and went on to the next show..if anything it shows how weak DBCO is that they dont have the pull in their own city to make a power move and cause some real shyt to go down...

everything else is deflection and spin tactics and irrelevant because its all hate fantasies and imaginary scenarios

LOL!

I don't give a fukk about duke. Who the fukk is Gibbs to hate on? I hope you aren't sublime to me because I said I respected duke a few times now. Calm down fan, you don't have to prove anything to me. I know how strong the "cult following" rapper fan base can be.

DBCO threatened to show up at the venue

And they did.

they showed up with their "real detroit nikkas" and not a thing happened to a soul

Hm? What was "supposed" to happen now? Correct me if I'm wrong but the one who insinuated anything was Gibbs. If anything it was supposed to be his side that made a statement.

..gibbs performed untouched got his money and went on to the next show

We all saw the picture of Trick Trick and Nickle, you don't have to remind anyone of that. And where is this "got his money" business coming from? What money, and how much worth speaking on? And if allegedly Gibbs was taxed, what makes you sure he netted a profit? What makes you certain of anything that happened behind the scenes being something to give stripes over?

everything else is deflection and spin tactics and irrelevant because its all hate fantasies and imaginary scenarios

The only posters guilty of what you're describing are Gibbs fans. I don't care either way. I'm just not blind, dumb, or a follower.

If Gibbs had to get a pass to come through and got taxed then that's what it is. Either way you slice it Gibbs came out his face, and got dealt with like every visitor just like Trick Trick said would happen. Gibbs fans trying to turn Gibbs' face coming off into a W because he's not dead sound retarded.

Breh since you seem confused by us speaking on hypotheticals after the fact, let me refer you to the Cliff's Notes version:
I dunno if he's hard :manny: but he did exactly what he said he would do. He clowned them for getting beaten up/robbed in their own city....said it wouldn't happen to him....and it didn't. All that other shyt is for the birds.
