Nah I understand. I showed my dad very little love as a kid. No hugs never even told him I loved him. As an adult I came to appreciate what he did for me and realized he could be gone any day and kinda changed our dynamic. Give him a hug every time I see him and tell him I love him every time I talk to him now.

Not saying you gotta do what I do, but if you love and appreciate somebody, just make sure they know it especially your black father
