Am I tripping or did Freddie Gibbs talk about how on one song on the album a rapper thought he was throwing subs and he wasn't? Who was the rapper and what was the song?

I heard him mention it but I never looked into it and now I forgot all about that shyt.

I concur, nikkas is bugging. The smoothness of the beat on Harolds and the way Gibbs is flowing is crazy. Then High is dope as fukk.

I don't skip one song on Pinata.

Pinata is a great album but the features are awful (except scarface, Rae and bj)

Man I think that could be dope. The song was inspired by 50, and having 50 on there could be solid.

50 actually sounds dope over Madlib style production IMO.

Dr. Dre and Alchemist both said 50 liked to pick a lot of their beats that had more open spaces in them and a lot of Madlib beats fit that criteria. I think it could be a solid pairing.

Pinata is a great album but the features are awful (except scarface, Rae and bj)

Most of the features on Pinata were recorded separately and emailed in. It's pretty obvious too if you listen knowing that. Most if not all of the features are the final verse of the song (like they just tacked them on the end), and on some of them the mix sounds different than Gibbs' part.

I'd add Earl's verse on Robes to your list, but other than that I agree that most of the features could've been left off.

As far as ASAP Rocky, Gibbs said their situations aren't similar. And they aren't. ASAP Rocky and his people whupped someone's ass....Gibbs got accused of rape by two girls he never interacted with, at all. Regardless of whether or not they were both mistreated in jail, it's important to differentiate between why they are in jail.

ONLY to be pissed on by an unneeded beat switch and meh bars from gibbs (in comparison with the first parts). shyt could've been the best track of 2019 if it ended with the first beat.
