yes listen to Pinata

arguably 2014 album of the year

I disagree @kae cae tha Musician . Pinata is great but youre doing yourself a diservice by skipping all the way to Pinata. There are 4 years of heat before that. Start from Str8 Killa No Filla (not the EP...but the no DJ mixtape). Some would say Startfrom midwestcadillacboxgangsta or whatever but I havent peeped that.

Go chronologically. Every project is different.

Str8 Killa no Filla is his rawest (8/10)
Cold Day in Hell is his smoothest (8.5/10)
BFK to me is his best project featuring a lot of trap music (10/10, my favourite gangsta grillz)
ESGN a blend of all three prior really (8.5/10)
Pinata his most soulful (9/10)

Its definitely worth going back and checking out Boxframe, Miseducation of Freddie Gibbs, and the fukkin with Fred series. Labels Tryna Kill me is 80 tracks, but its just single verses, so not really worth it imo unless you like that sorta thing. He also got an EP with Statik Selektah called Lord Giveth, Lord Take Away. The earlier projects are kind of inconsistent and unpolished, but there's definitely heat on there.

Boxframe is probably the best out of them. Here's some tracks:

Its worth checking out. They recorded it all in one afternoon, so every track has a feature or two, but the track with Trae is piff
