Freddie Gibbs seated near Gunna at VMAs and calls him a "rat" on IG Story: "I see you boy, don't try to hide. Rat b*stard."

Alfredo 2 came and went.

It was talked about for 2 weeks (if that) & everyone moved on.

There’s not one song that anyone is still talking about from that album.

There isn’t one song with any notable quotables.

There isn’t one song that he hasn’t already made before.

The production isn’t nuanced at all.

He makes albums with great flow, scatterbrained thoughts about bytches, people hating mixed in with metaphorical references……over and over again.

Gibbs can rap but it’s not anything special.

Piñata was his peak.
People always overrate shyt they like,... Legit classic aren't even being played 20 years later, but in 2045, nikkas gonna be sitting around saying "Throw on that Alfredo 2 album breh"

I can understand the "ysl is a gang" admission being considered snitching, but they are saying Gunna snitched by saying it wasn't his gun in the car, it's not like thug claimed it either. That's not snitching and the Da can't charge multiple people for possession of the same gun. That's a common scare tactic police use,if no one claims this gun you're all going to jail. That's true but no one will end up getting charged if everyone says it's not theirs.

This might be the single dumbest piece of legal advice I've ever seen. They cannot charge everyone but they definitely WILL charge someone. They'll pick whoever the vehicle is registered to first, then whoever was closest to it... If they wanna be dikks, they'll get fingerprints and charge whoever is on it... That's how Lil Wayne got charged with a gun on a bus he didn't own, wasn't alone on and nobody said was his

Gunna might be the first person in rap where taking a plea where you don’t mention names or crimes, is considered a big rat. To a point where middle aged peers from 1000 miles away still wanna make a thing about it.

Even in the sopranos they make a distinction. When they say “it could’ve been worse, he could’ve flipped” taking plea is literally the least form of flipping, and gunna was barely a member. Dude is a crip not a blood. And worse, every single person took a plea, including Thug.

Actually in the show and in real life, the WORST thing you can do is admit there is a mafia in the first place.. Which is what Jonny Sack pleaded to... admitting there was a mafia and he was head of a family... Because that is admitting to being a criminal organization and opens everyone up to a RICO

Which is exactly what Gunna did

We have a large contingent of Gunna fans here :pachaha:

I have little time for Freddie (especially since his beef with Curren$y) and he be acting the fool, but now we pretending like his music in general is buns?

Was a fan when it was just his music. but gibbs acting like he’s been acting the last few years at 40+ basically ruins it.

Alfredo 1 already Grammy nominated

Alfredo 2 is arguably the hip hop album of the year and will definitely be nominated

Piñata is a certified modern hip hop classic

So that’s 3 that will be memorable and talked about for decades
Decades is a humongous reach :pachaha:

Outside of ‘fuk u mean’ which I heard by force, I couldn’t tell you the name of one Gunna track. What I can tell you though is that more people will know more Gunna albums in ten years then will know Freddie Gibbs album loool
