You could tell he wanted to lean into that hypocrite shyt against Kendrick but breh already covered himself with the therapy album. Despite being a forgettable album that shyt really covered up his bases on infidelity and other shyt that could have potentially hurt in a battle. Flip side Cole wanted to go there as if there wasn't a reason why he wrote Kevin's Heart, or why he can't be around certain female LA radio personalities anymore. Neither deleted and backed out of a battle in the middle of it, so I don't understand the correlation.

This is the definition of a no win situation for Cole. If he responds, people will bring up him running from Kendrick. It’ll also open himself for a Gibbs response, and Gibbs is a much more aggressive and active artist.
He’s better off not responding. It’s not about nothing anyway, Gibbs is still upset at Benny from that beat down and just using Cole as a proxy since they have a record together.

That was the sentiment in real time and he still made a full fledged half hearted diss track that was so wack that he had to take it back. Of this whole battle, that was the most unnecessary shyt in recent memory.
Honestly yea the haters of Cole will be on some bullshyt about him running from Kendrick. But this could defintely gain him some redemption if he goes against Freddie. Freddie ain’t no slouch either and this would be a rap battle more in the traditional sense. I’m for it.
