Roach: If Marquez Doesn't Fight Us, Then He's a P*ssy!

When Manny Pacquiao faces Brandon Rios on November 23rd he will be fighting to keep his career a float and erasing the memory of him being knocked out cold almost a year ago at the hands of longtime rival Juan Manuel Marquez.

The knockout loss has been a focal point throughout the international press tour for Pacquiao-Rios and according to trainer Freddie Roach, it’s a loss they still want to avenge. In fact, Roach said he’d prefer to fight Marquez instead of Floyd Mayweather when asked which fight he’d like should they be victorious over Rios.

“At this point I think yeah [we’d rather face Marquez]. If Manny is impressive, wins by knockout and impresses the world I think people will start talking about that [Mayweather] fight again. But at this point seeing him get knocked out in his last fight, nobody is really pushing for that fight. I think a win over Marquez will push us a little bit closer” said Roach.

Pacquiao and Marquez have battled four times with the first three affairs being close and controversial as many felt the fights could’ve and probably should’ve been awarded to Marquez instead of Pacquiao.

The most definitive ending came in their latest fight when Marquez took it out of the judges hands and scored a knockout victory but Marquez made it very clear in a past interview with BoxingScene that he was not interested in a fifth fight with Pacquiao. Instead, he wanted to keep the memory intact and walk off into the sunset with that victory.

Marquez’s comments were brought up to Roach who had some choice words for Marquez.

“Yeah because the thing is before he won the last fight, he always wanted a rematch and now that its changed hands, he’s satisfied with the win. But the thing is I think we deserve one more shot back. If he doesn’t fight us I think he’s a p*ssy” fired Roach.

Before any future plans can be materialized, Pacquiao has to take care of business against a tough Brandon Rios.

Freddie Roach like JMM.......

Marquez trying to duck Bradley and already ducked that 5th fight against Pac:rudy:

***Pac vs JMM 1: It was ruled a draw, but Pac REALLY won that fight. The knockdown was not scored accurately for Pac which caused it to become a draw

Pac vs JMM 2: Pac won the fight.

Pac vs JMM 3: Pac got the decision, but JMM REALLY won that fight. He was robbed.

Pac vs JMM 4: JMM won by KO.

In my eyes, the series is tied at 2-2 (because of what I posted above) and a 5th is needed now to determine the true winner:yeshrug:

At the end of a very close fight, both boxers felt they had done enough to win the fight. The final scores were 115–110 for Márquez, 115–110 for Pacquiao and 113–113. One of the judges (who scored the bout 113–113) later admitted to making an error on the scorecards, having scored the first round as 10–7 in favor of Pacquiao instead of the standard 10–6 for a three-knockdown round. If he had scored the round 10–6 for Pacquiao (as the other two judges did), the result would have been a split decision in favor of Pacquiao

JMM arguably already beat this nikka enough times (and got robbed) and then put an exclamation on the series with the KO of the decade.

i don't think he obligated to fight pac again. at least not immediately or until we see pac hasn't lost that fire which he indeed has.

pac had a few fight in between their squabbles anyway. no reason to be out of pocket with nikkas.

and honestly i think freddie roach need to retire. he on a losing streak. and his parkinson's aint gonna get anything other than worse.

marquez should be in the drivers seat...

tell em lets fight in mexico...

its not possible for anybody to ever call a fighter like marquez a puzzy.. he went up agaisnt the baddest man on the planet 4 times and finally conquered him... pac was killing follks at all different weights (barrera morales, cotto, hatton dlh).. and marquez went neck and neck with hiim...

aint no bytch in marquez.. ..

if iw as marquez id give a big fukk you to manny and let it be known that he got the last laugh ... the boss move would be to take the soul he beat out of manny and hang it up in his house...lol... mannys gonna have to throw alot of money to get that back... 50/50 purse split then it should be on

I understand wanting to avenge that KO but as a fan I am so over Pacquiao/Marquez. He'll I wasn't even all that interested in that fourth fight to be honest.
I think I would be more interested in Pac rematch against the new attitude Bradley than another Marquez fight.
And Marquez really has no incentive to want to fight PAC again other than cash.

from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
If he loses to Bradley he should go fight Pac 1 mo gain and get that last check before he retires...

If he beats Bradley his ass just needs to retire because I know Pac don't appreciate being KO'd and undoubtedly wants 1 more opportunity to smack this nikka Roidquez

Sounds bout right....we both know :deadmanny: loves fighting nikkas coming off a L:youngsabo:

Nah nikka, Pac tying up a loose end aagainst the guy who ko'd him... Bradley gonna get that work to... you think Pac forgot :mjpls:..

And lets not forget Floydi bytch ass stipulations saying Pac has to now beat Roidquez(again) for a shot at him.. Pac don't got time to wait for Roidquez to get another win.. the clock is ticking on all these nikkas

I thought judges rarely if ever score anything less than 10-7??

People dont usually get dropped 3 times in 1 round and continue the fight:manny:

Being that Manny won the round, it should've been 10-9....then you take away 3 points for the 3 knockdowns and that round should've been a 10-6 round and would've given Pac the 1st fight outright, instead of a draw.
