I don't think Lil' Wayne can't battle rap, I just think he won't.
What does he really have to prove or gain from it? If he does battle and win people would say he only won cuz of his popularity.

some people can battle on-wax. some can battle off-wax. some can do both. some cant do either.
its not rocket science. alot of people that got into hip-hop in the past 10-15 years dont seem to understand this tho. they seem to not understand alot of stuff actually.

I didn't say anything about him winning a battle, but you can't say the man is food . He has garbage lyrics at times, but when he's on point he's on point.
put an on-point wayne up against a real battler(on or off wax) and he still gets slayed.
theres a reason why he got raped by SKIP, whose not even a lyricist.
wayne needs to stick to making tracks. thats his lane. he has no place in the battle realm, so stop trying to force him in it. lol.
and i respect the fact that he now acknowledges it, instead of a year or two ago, when he tried to say "battling is for old school niccas" to save his ass.

Different worlds. I can personally guarantee that while he can't handle them in the battle rap world, he could put together a better verse, and a better project than anyone of those dudes.
Most battle rappers could never put together a classic album/project. There are mainstream rappers who can battle rap.
