My uncle in Paterson, NJ used to go every Sunday. I still remember him saying him and his people were going there because they were shooting a video for an upcoming rapper. We all stood around the TV to watch the debut, and it was DMX-Get At Me Dog. They were mad as fukk cuz the crowd was black n white so we couldn’t find them.

The stories they told me was insane. Cats getting buck fifties, bytches get trains ran on them in the bathrooms…shyt, the DRIVE there was dangerous, at least from Jersey…. I remember my moms good friend got murdered during the drive to The Tunnel because people in other cars were on go mode…she got stabbed up by a group of girls smh

there was a dope documentary on the Tunnel I saw last year. I watched it twice because the shyt was hilarious. I've never been there, but my cousin moved to NY after high school and lived there about 30 years before he moved back here. He would tell me storied about the Tunnel in that they'd have to go there 8-deep. . I'm thinking to myself, "No way I'm going to the club that I've got to take reinforcements due to a warzone atmosphere.."
