Nah, shouldn't mess with anything. It would only connect with 360 hostsThis is a great move. Different reports are popping up online though. Some say this will be a digital only thing, some say you'll be able to grab 360 discs and play them on the XB1. Online functionality for these games hasn't been clear either. How would someone playing halo 4 on a 360 disc play online on an xbox 1? Wouldn't it conflict with people playing the MCC?

Its a major move but this isn't going to bury Sony. Personally I'm ready to take advantage of the backwards compatibility, but keep in mind, A LOT of people traded in their old systems and games to make the jump to next gen. I'm not downplaying this move at all. I just don't think the 360 library is enough to kill Sony. Now if Sony were to open up the PS3 flood gates, that might be a nail in the coffin for XB1, but we know that isn't going to happen because they've go too much invested in trying to stream old gen games.I doubt its retail disc compatible, it will kill the xbox 360 hardware which Microsoft wants to support until 2016-2017.If this ends up being retail disc backwards compatibility, Sony won't be able to counter it.
PS4 disc backwards compatibility would essentially cancel the use for the "PS NOW" service.
