Monday I watched the Chris Rock documentary, Good Hair. Ice T was on there and he said something profound that he was told by a pimp.
“You always have to be flyer than your hoe.”
He was referring to pimps having their hair permed and sleek.
However, it dawned on me. I don’t care to dress and prefer comfort but when I get spiffy, women behave as if it’s an honor to be in my presence and not vice versa. Truly some king ish.
They say clothes don’t make the man but it attracts the women. So brehs who don’t get the ladies and/or #uglygang stay fresh and sharp. Of course being fly automatically heightens one’s confidence so the woman would actually like being around you.
So, what other gems you learned along the way that you’d like to share, brehs and brehettes?
