Nah... @Godless Liberal CEO is a blatant and shameless Reddit poster. You can catch his ass primarily in r/antiwork, r/feelthebern, r/neoliberal and r/politics defending his shytty stances in those entitled dusty cac infested echo chambers like his life depends on it.
:mjlol:
Why would some posting on r/feeltheburn or r/antiwork post on r/neoliberal :heh:

those are two completely different ideologies my guy

My nikka... It's one thing to legalize all narcotics, and it's another for the government to actually provide the poison to it's own citizens on other citizens' dime.
:gucci:

Then you wonder why the Dems and Progressives get washed every other election cycle. It's because they promote nonsensical shyt like this. Here in America, they'll certainly be getting washed the next two, so don't even be surprised.
:pachaha:
1. we can have a conversation about Nationalization vs privatization of a legalized drug system
2. The government isn’t handing out drugs intact this is in response to government inaction and says as much in the first paragraph of the article

In response to the latest overdose death statistics, Drug User Liberation Front (DULF) will hold an event with the BC Association of People on Opiate Maintenance (BCAPOM) and the Vancouver Area Network of Drug Users (VANDU) on Wednesday (Feb. 9) to issue demands for immediate access to a safe supply of drugs and to hold B.C. politicians accountable for their response to the crisis that has claimed thousands of lives.”

there's less abuse. deaths, crime related to illegal drugs
But an overall increase in drug users and drug related deaths.

One pusher to another.

The fear of fentanyl should not drive government issued drugs in a heavily populated, multicultural nation with the hardest working people on earth.

Man injured in downtown Seattle shooting; mayor releases statement on ongoing violence
Police said an associate of the victim might have exchanged gunfire with the shooter.

Ballistic evidence was recovered from the scene, including from a Metro bus that was damaged.

Officers said they seized the victim’s drugs, approximately 14 grams of heroin, 3 grams of methamphetamine, 82 fentanyl pills, and his gun. The man is a convicted felon who is not permitted to carry a gun, law enforcement said.

Fiends want, or need, to get higher. Smoking a Fentanyl pill solves for x. I work a block away from that.

actually you're incorrect.

  • Drug-related deaths have remained below the EU average since 2001
  • The proportion of prisoners sentenced for drugs has fallen from 40% to 15%
  • Rates of drug use have remained consistently below the EU average
The bolded is what should be motivating all of us to push for decriminalization.

The allure/coolness of drugs is gone once it's legalized, so guess what, less kids/highschool teens want to use when it's decriminalized.

You save more lives, you keep people more productive in society. this isn't some random fact it's backed information.

the war on drugs is really just a war on poor people, a war on minorities and depending on your part of the world, it's a war on black people.

the largest movers are hispanics (coke), europeans(distro channels, coke brokers etc) and asians (heroin)

So we get an uptick of users among the current generation and hope that the new generation doesn't follow since the allure of criminality is gone.

It could be a success or a catastrophic failure in America because of how words are used to shame opposing political groups.

pretty sure that contributes to drug use as well, it can be a gateway because lots of people start with uppers when caffeine pills can no longer do the job.
some people don't have a lot of avenues for relaxation and sadly drugs are often the most accessible next to cigarettes, alcohol and weed.

That considered...

Is this a good program to bring to the United States?

Why would Americans do less drugs when they're using drugs because they're stressed from working? Government just tryna run the dope man off the block and control another racket.

we need work reform as well.

do you know how many billions of dollars leave the united states to go into the hands of drugs traffickers? lets stop enriching others and taxing ourselves more to continue paying for a policy that doesn't work.

every single country thats waged a war on drugs have fewer citizen rights to show for it.

Well don't wage war on the user.

Wage war on the pusher.

I don't trust the gov to use these funds for the right things.
