I cannot get past the first battle how do I beat that big cannon thing

I remember I had to Google that one, wasn't tryna waste too much time especially on the first boss. I think you're just supposed to heal Jansen with items while he does fire damage to the boss. If he's good, use flare bombs. Put him in the back so he takes less damage, and don't waste time reviving the immortals cuz they come back on their own
