your stars are but dust on my shoes
Wasn't Gina, the girl that testified against Max, getting a lighter sentence for implicating Max in her crime? Wasn't she drugged up the night of the robbery? Did she meet up with Max following the robbery? Wasn't she Max's ex girl? Did Max see any of the robbery money? Was Max in the same state where the crime was committed? Was Max cooperative with police when questioned about the girl? Weren't the victims making hundreds of thousands dollars from mortgage and mail fraud? Didn't the surviving victim fail to identify the shooter twice?

And you think that is cool. Lord forbid one of my boys ever acted on some shyt we talked about.. Everybody would be in jail

Doesn't matter if I think it's cool, it's the law.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conspiracy_(criminal)

If you and your boys make a plan to commit a robbery, they go and attempt the robbery and during the attempt one of them pulls the trigger and kills someone, it doesn't matter if you were there or not, all of your boys will get got for conspiracy murder.

From an objective standpoint, Max probably did set up the robbery and shyt, but the murder was completely unplanned. I think most people think he shoulda got 5-10 years (what the plea woulda been I believe), but instead they threw him down 75. I think that is where most people are like :whoa: that's way too extreme. 75 years? :damn:

Yeah, Max wasn't thinking right during the trial. Too much partying and shyt and a TERRIBLE lawyer. He shoulda just took the plea. He'd be out by now most likely (or at least close to it).

Glad he's keeping positive, but most likely he ain't getting out anytime soon. After that appeal got denied (and I really thought he had a chance with that appeal), it was pretty much game over. :to:

The nikkas in here talking about why shoudl they free him, wouldn't be saying that if they liked his music?

I mean if were using that line of argument, how many rappers would be left rapping, a lot of them at least portray themselves to be hardened criminals?

I wonder if this was GFK, you would be saying the same thing....
The internet rhetoric people tend to cling to is nothing short of spectacular :wow:

Ghostface is in my top 10 but if that nikka actually murdered somebody, got caught, and served time? :manny:

Yeah, I commonly hear he should be free, but why? Wasn't this an open shut case?

no it wasnt. they didnt even have solid evidence. case couldve easily been beaten.

max is at fault for spending money on clothes instead of a real lawyer. and they prolly threw the book at him because of the way he carried himself in court.

Max even said himself he was going crazy with the spending, drinking, and drugs cuz he knew it was probably a wrap for him. He said he wanted to live it up before going in.

Yayo warned him. He shoulda kept a low profile and got a better lawyer. Max was too focused on having fun and his career though (and best believe those raps about murdering somebody and leaving them dead in a hotel lobby, didn't help)
