:dahell: you do know there is a reason no one brought his album? Dude is a cornball.

I'm aware of his PR issues but that's not what I'm gettin at.

He stayed tru to his words when it came time for the rubber to hit the road. That's honorable, that's commendable. Even if he was a lil sloppy wittit.

I won't say that "you don't see that everyday". But for Hip Hop, for somebody with a little bit of celebrity. That's cause for a Spot in the book of rap.

Man shuut all the fukking way up :stopitslime:

Why? Bekuz Troy Ave made you feel a little self-conscious about yourself. Nah. You shut all of the way the fukk up.

Go grab a beer and get the dikk outcha ear

Things are not always black and white.

I can't fault a man for confronting someone who's been talking slick. You're speaking with hindsight as the events have unfolded.

I agree you can't....but when your fukking with people you dont know...you never assume them to be weak...you access and move cautiously. Thats what im saying dude was an idiot and moved as such. He had to much on the line to move wrecklessly like he did.

My point....nothing he says should be respected. Its not the nikkas who aren't afraid to shoot that I respect any fool can pull a gun...its the ones who have the know how to move smarter and use intellect over anger and stupidity.

Real life no lie no troll. Troy Ave deserves a Footnote in New York Hip Hop. Like Eric B., Rakim, Wu-Tang, etc.

And I don't mean no backhand compliments or articles or any of that mess, I'm talkin about somethin real respectful, real appropriate.

Musically Troy Ave might've not been your thing. But you always had to respect what that man was sayin. Even if you didn't care for his approach to it.

Now we know why nobody pays ya bum ass

Neither can I....but I can fault a man for not having the class to handle the situation better. Quite frankly your kids cant eat respect nor pride. He chose a public event to handle his issues probably with the intention of gaining some street notoriety. And it blew up in his face.

But his music sucked. And staying true to dumb shyt doesnt make you great. It makes you susceptible to failure.

And being a pushover, naive, and too kind gets you nowhere either.

Troy was on some grown man shyt from Day 1. People got mad bekuz he called shyt like it was. Alotta people haven't heard it put that way before so they immediately took offense.

And "low-key" he was being funny wit it bekuz he knew of his little setbaccs too. The high pitch voice, the gettin caught readin a "freestyle" on Sway, Sellin a little bit of records. But he just kept the act up bekuz it was workin for him, people be eatin that shyt up.

And he did have that one record that really sticks out, "All About The Money". That shyt go. He murdered that diss tracc from earlier this year too.

Respect dumb nikkas who shoot up venues they are getting paid to perform at brehs....if anything his whole career should be the mantra for exactly what not to do in Hip Hop. Endorsing man hood through selling drugs, flossing money, and shooting nikkas is not game breh. I mean to each its own but be serious.....

Use Coli slang when talkin about shyt like this breh....

Troy was just tellin his story. A story that has a whole bunch of asterisks as a Black kid from a rough side of Brooklyn. Whether you agree with it or not. For alotta nikkaz, his path is a reality, not a fantasy.

Positive people are good for you to take notes from. But there's more to life than tellin people to "stay in school" and all that yada yada yada. Life is real
