I've lived 10 years in France until 2012.
I still have many friends/family there and my wife is French.

This election is a fukking nightmare:
A crooked Feudal Lord (Fillon), a Racist (Le Pen), a Liberal (Macron) and a real Socialist (Melenchon) can both go on the 2nd round.
France is doomed. I already told to all people who don't vote don't have to complaint or i will punch them in the face.

Yeah myself I can't vote bein Belgian but I see on FB some people from anti-racist movements saying they won't vote and I'm like, how? That's a vote for Le Pen or Fillon basically. I understand the reasoning but this particular election is too risky imo. It's not Hollande vs Sarkozy. If you really want to boycott an election boycott the upcoming legislative one.

M**** who don't vote to avoid Len vs Fillon are guilty by association.
They deserved to be punched with their non sense reasoning: you vote or if no one appeal to you you move your ass to present yourselft.
Whining after it's too late is too easy.

It's a generational issue. People in our generation don't believe in voting. The thing is, their argument is simple: what did voting do for our parents?

Yeah I know, I've been reading a lot on democracy and alternatives these past years, I know it's far from the best system. Like I said, I fully understand the logic behind

This is more a reasoning on the Left, not voting is damn near a vote for Fillon or Le Pen. As bad or unconvincing as Hamon, Macron or Mélenchon are, at least they plan on staying within the spirit of "La République". Fillon and Le Pen are too high a risk imo not to go vote. With one of the former three, at worst you're in a "business as usual" situation. With either one of the latter two, man...I don't even want to think about it yet.

He's extremely conservative, it's established that he's already stealen and lied about it, gives two fukks about facts (he's still lying about "other attacks" taking place on thursday evening, other than the one at les Champs-Elysées), etc talking about boosting the economy by putting hundreds of thousands of people out of a job (civil servants), pushing that austerity package, said French colonizing other countries was "sharing French culture", the list goes on...

Type of guy that will make people regret Sarkozy lol
