Yet Black French claim French identity more readily and passionately. France has always shown it's hand. But continued to have more of a chokehold than England did after the colonial occupation eras on the people and their countries.

a french accent is waaay too hard to get rid of. 5 years is way to short to go from sounding like Thierry Henry to Jude Bellingham

someone is not telling the truth (not saying you)
I heavily disagree. It can take only 6 months to a year depending on how fast you naturally pick up languages and accents. I know it took me 1.5 to become fluent in certain languages and another 3 to sound like a natural speaker

Kind of true what he said. It's very difficult to have certain jobs or to get into some high space in France..

They see a certain type of name on your resume, you can bet they will never call you and toss it in the trash.

True for the postal code too. Your licence tag is from 93 ? And you are in Paris intra-muros past certain hour ? You are going to get arrested

No I was in Paris 🇫🇷

You know the same French that enslaved and colonised people from Congo, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Martinique, Guadeloupe the list goes on....
It's so weird. I learned the language and never had any desire to go there. They seem rude and kinda... unhygienic? I learned it because I pick up languages easily and wanted to talk to all the then-new Senegalese in Harlem. The idealism of youth. Helpful for UG tho and the occasional academic paper/ documentary. :ld:

I am both Guadeloupean and Martinican and actually lived in the parisian banlieue my whole life. The "Black people fleeing like slave patrol" is here is a fabrication.

What he saying isn’t new to France. All Latin based countries are like this especially when it comes to the blanquiemento mind set. It don’t matter if it’s Spanish, Portuguese, or French. They all think like this and you’ll bet you’ll rarely see black ppl in positions of power in those places. At least in Anglo base countries you’ll be able to see black ppl in leadership positions o (or the illusion of it to somewhat say the least)

The thieving French colonizers had an evil plan and executed it..they told the West and Central Africans to abandon their language customs and culture and replace with the superior French culture..when brehs landed in Paris speaking French they were told they'd never be French.
Nasty lot.

I have also been to France but I have no desire to go to the north.

I spent my time in the South of France. There's no reason for me to see Paris, eat baguette avec beurre. and fais quoi?

:mjlol:

Still, when I was in the South of France I saw French police attacking a black man.
:francis:

France's grip on black people is harder to break because French culture is assimilationist and nominally based on civic nationalism. Moreover, French colonial policy sought to turn Africans into French people, as opposed to British colonial policy which was colonialism by proxy/indirect rule in most of Black Africa.
