You don't to have enforce a dress code to have a formal restaurant. People dress up for church all the time and never have dudes standing outside preventing all the black people from coming in.

and also it's never enforced equally.
So what youre saying is a restaurant can make an empty statement about a dress code that you get to ignore as you see fit?

no i'm saying that they are using the dress codes to be covertly racist.

1) the atmosphere is not going to feel different just because the people at table 6 are wearing sneakers. If you do upscale decor, and have the staff wear upscale uniforms. The atmosphere will be upscale. The restaurant determines the ambience not the clientele.
Moreover, people will want to dress up to fit in.

2) they never enforce the dress code equally anyway, them women were clearly dressed more classy then the white folks in sneakers and jeans that were walking in.

I’ll travel anywhere else in the world. But Fukk all of Europe.:yeshrug: I don’t want to see the wealth, the architecture, the buildings—knowing it was made off the backs and blood of my ancestors with ZERO credit.
That’s also why it was great to see those statues in the U.S. being removed too. To be honest, we own this country.

So we not going to point out there was a breh working the next door over?

I know this is how it is, especially abroad but it just irks me even more when it's our own. I would've loved to see breh tell all them black folks they can't get in. Guaranteed someone would've tried him just cause he one of us but they just whined to the cac instead. They did the right thing though by putting the restaurant on blast and I hope they lose all their business.

This is why when I hear black folks raving about traveling abroad, in my head I'm guessing they're either weird, don't really travel like that or just ignorant/unaware smh

Devils Ad. the three Black women and the other woman with the Breh were the only ones dresssed appropriate.

Breh needed to put on dress shoes and a button up, the other black women with alphabet squad needed to change.
