Y'all crazy, this French album is fukking dope. So was Excuse My French. His mixtapes are arguably better, but both his albums are high quality. The features might carry it, but listening wise, these shyts are

Its good, but not good enough.
Mix/mastering is off. Push Up and Jump sound like a lot of noise. Same with 'Migo Montana' with that stupid siren too loud in the back. The volume level for "Bag" sounds lower than the others for some reason. And wish they had better autotune (i.e., Trippin) for Bathroom Hotel and White Dress!!Other than that, the album is 50/50. It got gems on it, but shyt could have been better if they just put the effort into it.
So far my favorite tracks are:
- Trippin (this The Appetizer french right here!!)
- Stop It
- Unforgettable
- A Lie (wish French delivered a better verse)
- Famous
- Black Out
- No Pressure (seems like they cleaned this up from the single version)
- Whiskey Eyes

That's true. But for some reason he always falls short from delivering a perfect project, when we know he could if they just fixed out the bugs and patches, feel me?
Like to me Casino Life 2 was a perfect project as far as mixing and tracklisting.... but the datpiff tags fukked it up. The Appetizer, Coke Boys 1-2, Cocaine Mafia, MC2 were perfect projects.
I know what he's capable of. Coke Zoo fell short, now this. Wave Gods and MC4 weren't the street shyt like they used to be (CL2 seems to be the last) but they were still consistently produced. Even tho the tracklistings for Coke Zoo and Wave Gods was full of typos/missing prod.credits.
Proper mix/mastering, some better autotune, on select tracks, and a better verse on A Lie could made this a perfect project.

this shyt is really trash, I had high expectations for this especially after what happened to mac and cheese 4.
we still could, the appetizer is his best album and that was deep in his career. I feel like hes got a few more good albums left in him. I had high hopes but ima a little let down by Jungle Rules so far. Theres only a few albums of his i liked off rip, his albums need a few spins so im hoping this one will get better. Wasnt feeling the appetizer at first and now its my favorite album by him so i hope this goes the same

I'm kind of disappointed with this album, I'm only feeling Whiskey Eyes and A Lie. Might have to run it back and see if anything was good enough. MC4 was better off a first listen

Besides the very last two tracks on here, this album sounds like leftovers from Views and Grateful. shyt is tailor made for white girls that dress up as black girls at sorority parties.

starts off good the the album takes a hell of a steep drop after Bring Dem Things then picks up again in the final stretch.

but i can tell i won't be listening to three maybe four of those songs in a few weeks.
i don't like A Lie as much as i want to either.
Travis, Future and Quavo gave French the Khaled treatment...forgettable.
he added nathin to that Alkaline joint..i like Famous but it needed a feature maybe Rocky. would have broke the song up a bit.
as a French fan i'm not really liking it...my little brother and my little cousin love it...so French did his job.
