The stronger military in Europe is to make sure russians do not try rebuilding their old soviet union era territories they had pre 90s and they don't test Europe with malicious conflicts.

Plus the job is always to prepare for the worst case scenario, just in case. The worst case scenario is US goes into full blown war with China. That clearly means Europe needs to have a stronger military cause in that scenario the American military would be gone off the Europe land like completely.


And honestly Euros should consider kicking out Hungary out of European Union. They have one country in their union that is going against their vision. There must be some way to kick them out even if takes a while.
