I actually saw this the exact opposite way.

Woman do stuff like this when you don't pass the sensor of all four women. If it's undeniable that you are a valuable man , them they don't care if you go talk to their female friend. They might even try to take you from her.


This is effectively her friend saving the main woman from making a social mistake because she is drunk.
