Maybe they thought they had to add him because the first Vivian was actually pregnant during the series and after replacing her, they wanted to keep some type of continuity?

I still never understood replacing a regal, super self-assured intelligent Vivian with a housewife Vivian. Let’s not even get into the extreme difference in complexions like no one would notice, lol.

And the fast forward in time for baby Nicky and no one else was genuis, lol.

Here we go again trying to pretend will smith wasnt the clear star of the show. Carlton and Geoffrey were hilarious but they were role players. Neither of them could carry a show on their own like will could. Geoffrey was great for witty one liners. Carlton was great for the silly corky humor. But he became more gimmicky as the show went on.

Will was all around funnier than both of them. He could do what they both did and more. He could do the silly shyt but also drop one liners that left you dying. Dude used to son everybody. Carlton and Geoffrey were great but will carried that show. Lets be real.
