Freshest Matchups The WWE Could Make With The Active Roster?

What are the best matches you can come up with that either hasn't been done or would be fresh to see, including NXT. I been thinking about how much talent the total roster has and how many fresh match ups could actually be made if this was done similar to UFC or how WCW used to do their Nitro/PPV main events. Using injured wrestlers in this scenario also, and excusing the known trash booking. Try to make the best 5 or so:


1. Roman Reigns vs John Cena

2. Taker vs Cena/Reigns (would've meant much more with the Streak intact)

3. Brock Lesnar vs a motivated Randy Orton, Cesaro, or Sheamus

4. Roman Reigns vs HHH (Should have BEEN happened)

5. Some combination of Zayn, Neville, & Kalisto with a good amount of time and a ladder.

6. The Shield vs The Wyatts: Hell In A Cell or Wargames



Couldn't think of anything for DB because frankly there aren't any good credible heels.

It's almost certainly not gonna happen, but I'd LOVE to see a Deadly Game/Dusty Rhodes Invitational type tournament for the Diva's title culminating in a new Womens Championship belt. There is more than enough talent there for an 8 person tournament.. you could probably even stretch to 16 and do the prelims on Raw like they did for the men's title when Seth got crocked.

I'd have Asuka kayfabe break Charlotte's arm, then you have this tournament with Sasha Banks taking the whole thing and getting the shot at Asuka's title. Asuka gets DQd trying to break Sasha's arm.
Triple Threat at Wrestlemania for the new title; Asuka vs Banks vs Charlotte.

That's how I'd book it but you know WWE would try to insert Paige and Nikki Bella in there.

They've had matches before. I still want a best of 5 or 7 series over a few episodes of Raw, Smackdown and a couple of PPV's. KO v Cesaro. Give Cesaro a mouthpiece (Probably Heyman - and do it right this time ). Throw a stipulation on a match or 2 (submission match, falls count anywhere) and let em cook.
