My first impression is

on this show, especially it being on Esquire! It seems more like a caricature of the overly rah-rah meathead coach and the overworked kids that does not represent all of youth football all over the country.
Ok, it shows insight into the practices and what kids need to learn when starting out football, but it's ultimately gonna be used by casual fans and people who don't even follow football to bash the sport, thinking "All coaches and programs are like that, so I'm not letting my kid play," completely missing the locker room culture and the fact that coaches are going to be strict with their players to toughen them up and to play hard.
Who knows, maybe it will be different and the commercials are just for shock value

Even the NFL agrees.
