Looking through all your phone contacts, how many people can you call right now and they will be there for you?

At 4 am, I don't think anyone would be too happy if i called.

Only 1. It's actually 6 people I know that care about me and check up on me but that would be counting relatives. One of that number is high school breh that lives in another country struggling so he can't just instantly buy a plane ticket if I get fukked up somehow. But he'd find a way to make it to the funeral and comfort the fam if I got bodied.

My fault though. I always kept a small circle.

Its funny that this thread came up.

Before I boarded the plane for my first trip overseas, I decided to holla at all those who, if I died on the plane, are my aces. Soon realized, of the many in my phone, there were prolly 3 people (1 being my brother).

It further backed my belief that I dont have many "friends." Instead, I have plenty of associates / acquaintances .

I have a history with a few women that If i needed their help they'd answer.

My fault ... I should've stressed at ANY time. other than my mother and ex (at the time), I highly doubt anyone would say, "Oh hi..how can I help you?" at 4 am.

Though that is THE definition of a true friend.

Man most of my contact list would probably come through if I was really in a bind.

But I dont

1) call in favors like at all
2) Announce my problem or ask for help from others



So they would probably come through mostly because they know its a big deal.


Now if I did it back to back for a few months or so I could probably cut that list by about 75 percent.
