I realized that a majority of the world makes and maintains friendships and relationships by going through the same situation or having the similar interests.
That's why the best advice anyone can give you on how to get friends or into a relationship is to be yourself.
Like yeah you could be friends with someone who's 1000000 percent completely different from you but I say it doesn't last or can be truly considered a great friendship if there is no common factor for those two to bond over.
For example, two people could be going to college having a class together. They will socialize every day but once the semester is done. They will never talk again. Why? No common interests or situations to keep the friendship going. And this is what I consider a acquaintance.
And it's why some friendships end. Interests and situations change. If a friendship is formed through the same interests of wanting to party and one of the two decides they're done with that lifestyle. What will maintain that friendship?
And I feel like this is why relationships might not last some times. People some times get into relationships just so they can fukk. But what happens when the fukking blinder eyes wears off? You realize you can't relate to that person at all because of the lifestyle they were brought up from or hobbies don't relate to yours.
