To each his/her own. I guess we really won't find out until we're dead, right? I know that when I see her life and how it's going now, she's blessed in everything. She has almost the perfect life now, and it all opened up after her changes. I know I had similar experiences as well. Temptation was a lot greater, but when I was actually making an effort to fight it and walk a certain path, things seemed to open up for me left and right. Trips me out how folks criticize things without even trying it.

One thing that's great about being in excellent shape is that stupid fatties can't tell me JACK SH!T about how to live a better life. That cuts out like a good 75% of people (80-90% of religious Black women) that I'm ever bothered to take seriously when it comes to life advice, period.

Like some other folks said earlier, a lot of people pick and choose what parts of the faith/religion that they want to follow. Kinda like the Muslims I know that drink alcohol. It's not in line with their faith, but it happens.

I'm an unapologetic atheist. I can't be good friends with overly religious people. It's too much work trying to tell them repeatedly that I don't need/want/have any desire to go to their religious service, I don't want to go to their bible reading, I don't care what their religious meme of the day is and stop posting that shyt on my facebook wall.

I don't care. I don't believe in an afterlife etc... people can't wrap their minds around it. For some reason they think atheist means I go to black masses or something. I don't go anywhere, and I never even think about it until they keep bringing it up.

It's annoying. I often would ask them how they would feel if I kept bothering them about Buddah, but they don't get it because they are trying to "save you". I don't bug them about their faith, they don't get how disrespectful that is to harass me over something that is personal.

I finally just told a few of them to fukk off and was really harsh, they think I'm going to hell, but at least they finally shut the fukk up about it.
