on the low, i always fukked with whoo kid the most after clue's earlier tapes. up until he got with g-unit, he used to have the dopest mixtapes. and i could stand his loud ass gunshots and even learned to like them over certain songs over kay slay's horrible mixing. my man blew his speaker out cuz of a kay slay tape's ad libs being 5 times louder than the song. AWWWWWW MMMAAANNN

Whatever happen to the Drama King?

Remembers turning down the volume, because of him always yelling into the mic.

"LOCKED IN" :russ:

:pachaha: at him catching feeling with Nas, because he didn't show up to his music video. :laff:

I'd say maybe 01-03 :ld:

I remember every Thurday night listening to the Drama hour on Hot 97. I cant front he had shyt in a chokehold (as far as DJ's go). He had crazy exclusive's and of course 1 dibs on beef records. shyt I still remember the night he brought Jaz-O on and world premiered "Ova" :ooh: , then he started trying to make the crossover to making albums and aligning himself with wack underground artist and fell off.

He was killin' for a while there, definitely. In '03, it was all about him and Big Mike tapes for me. And yeah I remember Clue tryin' to mount sort of a comeback during that time cause he was falling out of favor, but he never got it back like he had it before. Slay's tapes were good most of the time, but yeah that nikka's mic was terrible :heh:

Correct me if I'm wrong Newark, but the mixtape game basically goes:
'85-'87- Brucie B
'88-'91- Kid Capri
'92-'94- Ron G/Doo Wop
'95-'99- DJ Clue
2000-2003- Kay Slay
'04-'07- DJ Drama

And after that... :noah:

Who was the DJ that had the canon shyt on his joints? I think that was the least annoying DJ call sign.

I'll never forgive him...for ruining so many of his exclusives, by calling me a fakkit, or threatening me harm in some sort of brutal way....

'Check this out.....fakkit'. 'THIS IS FOR ALL YOU bytch ASS nikkaS'. Man, shut up. His voice was mixed like 5x higher then the song.
