You're saying that Pharoahe Monch was BETTER than P during that period. There's no way. I'm not denying Monch he's nice as shyt but Prodigy's run from '94-'96 is bulletproof. To say that someone is better to P during that time is nearly slander. It's cool that you like other rappers but P was dropping timeless verses back-to-back, on features, on soundtrack, on album. C'mon man. Yes I agree Monch is a cool rapper tho.

Equinox wasn't even that good IMO... could never get into that shyt. Couldn't say that about anything Mobb dropped really, even into the 2000s.

And YES P was better than KRS in '95... you crazy :mjlol:

But monche and g rap solo albums are better than prodigy too :russ: . I'm going by the rules y'all putting in place and there is no way you can spin prodigy bring better than KRS, g rap, gza or monche.

G Rap and Monch don't have an album better than Infamous or Hell On Earth.

KRS and GZA have made albums on par. I'd take the Mobb albums over them all though. Liquid Swords and Criminal Minded come the closest.

What are you comparing? You're gonna tell me Internal Affairs is better than Murda Muzik or H.N.I.C? 4,5,6 is cool but that ain't on nobody "my favorite album list" :comeon:

4,5,6 or KRS ONE is better than Infamous? :martin: Liquid Swords could be argued, but that one album and his 4 verses on the Wu albums can't put him higher than P... he don't have enough content. You don't like Prodigy, we understand.

You guys gotta take one formula and stick with it. In another thread, and this one, you say as a collective that if no one has great solo albums, they can't be considered a top mc. Then you want to say Prodigy is a top 5-10 mc all time for MOBB DEEP PROJECTS. The Infamous and murda muzik(great albums) are not solo albums. Is internal Affairs better than HNIC? of course haha. Then the same people who set the rules, say Andre 3k is a top 10 mc of all time and he's never even had a solo album(1 rap songs on an album doesn't make it a hip hop album). We gotta have one criteria and stick with it. It's the same way how people say Jordan is the greatest cuz he has 6 rings, But when Russell and Sam Jones(also a HOF with 10 rings) are brought it, "that's different'> Be careful with the rules you make because the will come back to bite you. Iv'e literally played that song on repeat for years since it dropped. Sid Roms not getting placements has pissed me off. The Infamous Mobb Deep released 4 years ago is my 4th favorite Mobb Deep strudio album of their discogrpahy. Truly slept and the bonus disc of hard to find songs in great quality was a blessing. I bought that album too(not downloaded, BOUGHT, I can prove it). I have the Juvenile Hell album that I bought in the 90s after Hell on Earth came out (3 years after it's initial release) and have been buying their albums ever since. Blood Money is the only one I didn't buy.

I'm probably a bigger fan of them than you will ever be, I'm just not a stan. 2 of my favorite rappers of all time are Canibus and Wordsworth and I've never put them in a top 5, 10, or 15 of anything and Wordsworth is one of the most flawless mcs ever that makes it look so easy. So please stop that immature azz bs about "hating" on an mc cuz we disagree. We're fans of dope hip hop music. Leave that "hating" talk to the Drake, Cardi B, and Migos fans please. You're better than that.

people here talking in absolute makes me laugh as if we could measure who's the nicest and there's no subjectivity involved whatsoever....mid 90's P was one of the nicest on the mic anyone who argues to the contrary is just dumb....where he ranked exactly is a matter of taste could be #1 could be as low as #20 because back then u had a lot of nice cats who could claim the same.....the only true fact one can say was that P was top tier along with the usual suspects...anything else isn't facts and just a matter of opinion
