....when it comes to females the word "gay" doesn't mean that much.I've had some real eye opening conversations on social media/oovoo regarding that stuff with supposed lesbians.Kind of making me rethink that whole born gay thing.

My niece in high school says many girls suddenly turn "gay" to try and be cool.

Well, in the Christian worldview, a vital part of the faith is sacrifice. Jesus taught: "And if your eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell." Now, of course that's hyperbole in talking about plucking out your eye. But the principle is it's better to sacrifice something you love (acting on sexual desires such homosexuality, sex outside of marriage) then to do something that will lead to eternal punishment. Obviously, you don't agree but I'm just trying to explain the way of thinking.

I don't believe sexuality is as rigid as certain people would like us to be believe.

Since it is fluid and warped by various factors, I don't consider sexual orientation changing as "repression".

Edit: Not to say that there aren't people who repress their desires, but there's no basis for jumping to that conclusion in every case
