We got along great. When she spoke to her friends back at school, her girlfriend of Haitian background told her to not date a Haitian man. I can honestly say I was shocked and hurt when she relayed the story to me . In my mind,at first, I assumed that her friend had experience with her dad dominating or cheating on her mom, but I was blindsided to hear the comment. For the record, her friend was from Brooklyn, so same general region I grew up in, but BK Haitians are way more advanced. She had to have grown up around a lot of other Haitian families, so for whatever reason her experiences led her to express that view,

My girl and I went to NYC a few times during the Summer, that year and I met the woman that threw me under the Tap Tap
I get where you're coming. I don't like hearing the opposite from haitian men. However, I used not want to deal with haitian men at all growing because I had witnessed their cheating, controlling and jealous ways.
It turned me off for awhile...
Until a few yrs ago. I started meeting some decent ones.
