This is a perfect example of "Be careful what you wish for" for both sides. I bet Orlando is looking pretty good right now do Dwight. I bet Bynum's mercurial, injury prone ass is looking pretty good right now to LA (even with his current injury issues). And frankly I find it difficult to feel sorry for either side. :manny:

Even if he is shyts on offense, what happened to his D? He used to shut down the paint. Now he got Courtney Lee level nikkas driving straight towards him like a scrub.

Is his back injury THAT bad?

He no longer has 4 shooters around him to space the floor, if anything, this says a lot about Stan Van Gundy and his ability to hide all these glaring faults with Dwights game.

Without the shooters Dwight isn't even close to being effective, there's literally no gap between him and M. Gasol/Lopez/Noah right now.

smh at you not mentioning the fact that Dwight is not even the same player he was in Orlando due to the back injury. Dwight hater.

The back injuries are killing him!

Exactly. I like shytting on Dwight as much as the next person and I think his attitutude is filled with punk bytch-itis. But it's plain to see that he's not the player he was in Orlando, dude still hasnt recovered from the back surgery.

He's been robbed off the one thing that made him into the player he was: his athleticism. Remember when Orlando basically had a offense that was shoot up 3's and let Dwight go get the rebound or Jameer, throw the ball high at the basket and let Dwight get it. He's not that player anymore and I blame it all on the back problems not him.

People acting like this dude is a scrub, when just 3 years ago he took an average team that had no other All-Stars (and started Rafer Alston through the entire playoff run) to the Finals.

People know they would take a 100% healthy Dwight Howard (free throw issues and offensive defencies aside) over anybody in the NBA not named LeBron or Durant

Dwight is clearly not the same player right now that he once was. Along with the injuries, you can tell the joy that usually played with has been taken away from him because of who he is playing with and how much pressure the Lakers play under. That combo has caused the drop off imo

Dwight clearly isn't the same guy due to his injuries however I dont think a healthy Dwight would make that much difference. Injury or no injury he has been exposed as a guy with no postgame. You can't just dump it down to him and say "work". Plenty of unathletic and injured nikkas have done work in the post. Dwight was clearly content living off his athleticism. He can still rebound and defend but the rest of his team hasnt been that great defensively and in his current condition he can't cover the mistakes he used to be able to. In short he isn't as bad as he looks now but he's not as good as he was believed to be either.

 Don't disrespect Hedo Turk Da Gawd like that. He was the Magic's most clutch player and practically hit every clutch and big shot that postseason.

Its about time we recognize that Finals run for the fluke it was. If KG doesn't go down they don't get past Boston and they still got pushed to 7. The shot lights out against Cle and they had nobody even remotely athletic enough to deal with him. What happened in the Finals though? The Lakers and all that size overwhelmed him the 3s stopped falling and they were quickly dispatched in 5.

what about Philly?

I was only referencing Dwight Tresvant and the Lakers. Cant' feel that sorry for Philly when this nikka Bynum has been a regular on the injured list for years though. It's not like Iggy was gonna lead them to a title. It was a great risk, it's just not looking so good right now.

...because he's being exposed as a bytch.

People already SUSPECTED he was a bytch when he was with Orlando.

But his actions now in Lakerland only confirm it.

Dude is arguably the softest big man of the modern era.....even Big Country would've given Dwight that work, he was infinitely tougher than Dwight.

Seriously....if you're a fan of a given team, why would you want this nikka on your squad next year? Give me one redeeming quality this guy has which would warrant your team trading for or signing him?

yep
before injuries bryant reeves was avg like 17 and 8
