like nyc and ATL. Depends on your preference. I prefer the energy of Tokyo, the events.

but Osaka has a lot of historical cities nearby and each has its on feel—kyoto, Nara, Kobe. The region is called Kansai.

Tokyo has Roppongi where the TGIF and Hard Rock type restaurants are located along with tourist friendly nightclubs
