I wonder what happened to the cops that returned the kid to his murderer. I can only hope they're not still working in law enforcement.

It was real despicable. Saying they even got a slap on the wrist would be exaggerating their punishment.

I watched the Dahmer on Dahmer interview (on peacock) after this and while it was clear in the movie his dad overlooked stuff, it came across as a plot device. But watching this interview his dad is a clown and huge enabler. Anyone who would’ve pulled their head out of their ass for even a second could’ve stopped this dude, even grandma. And his dad still tried to act like it’s all his mother’s fault for being fukked up, they even list supplement she was taking of a hormone that occurs naturally in pregnancy, progesterone, and is a safe supplement if you have low levels, as some idictment against her. And I’m sorry, I know we’re supposed to love our kids, but they seem unable to call him the monster he is, he’s literally just a kind, loving son who lost his way because he didn’t know god this family is 100% fukked up and it’s no wonder Daniel Dahmer disappeared into Bolivia (surprised todays net detectives haven’t doxxed him)

I don't know how to feel about this series.

As a show it's great, well acted and all that other good shyt.

But the series left me feeling like he could've been saved. Like he's not the monster that Gacy or Bundy were when you could say he was doing way more deranged shyt.

I get they were trying to tell his true story but it also kinda leads into feeling sympathetic towards him.

i havent finished it and theres no way he could of been saved, anybody who keeps skulls in their houses and fresh bodies lying around is not being saved. lets not forget he fuked those body parts and ate them too
