If Asa is starting either a major injury has happened or something is seriously wrong with our team. No reason he should be anywhere close to the starting 5 this season

He was All Rookie 1st team and the runner up to ROY, what could he have proved in SL?
SL is for evaluating rookies, 2 way prospects, free agents to round out the bench & G League prospects…Richochet is starting next year, no reason to see him out there
I wouldn’t bet on it, he’s not a wing, Rich is. Asa is potentially the future at our 4 and 5 spot. He’s not big enough to bang in the post yet either. Plus we got JJ back and we know he can put up numbers against other NBA starters. For now he’ll do just fine coming off the bench and learning the system.
I look forward to him growing into a rim runner that can reliably stretch the floor, and get boards. Him starting means our season is in bad shape and OO and Kristaps are done.
Our biggest strength right now is modularity, being able to plug different players into the line up based on whatever we need to win. Front office is still looking at 2027-28. We definitely improved though.

On the court he's an ideal fit, but I haven't fukked with him since he left and dogged out the city on his way out. He comes back then it's all water under the bridge I suppose, but it wouldn't be a particularly warm reunion
