I don't know if you've noticed but the 2026 Draft is loaded!!! And if we don't luck up and get Darryn Peterson we are most likely getting the next best Guard in Mikel Brown Jr. who looks damn good and is a legit 6'5

Ja and/or AD would destroy any playoff hopes with this team.

With the rest of the team finally relatively healthy, emerging, and getting confident, we’re finally where we need to be with Trae as a pg. Trae wasn’t the only weak point on our defense. IQ and heart is where we historically failed as a team. When everyone else on the team was looking like or Trae was the only one with nuts.

He played the way he did, offensively, because he HAD to. With them asserting themselves, he can finally just focus on getting into the paint or scrambling around to fukk defenses up. Dude is a lion, a tiny lion, but still a lion. He needs a better whistle if anything.

I wouldn’t accept any removal of Trae aside from getting someone like Giannis or a tall, true, two way point gawd.

I’ve watched them and the team is finally starting to play like they have nothing left to lose. All the nervousness is gone. If Mo gets more consistent it’s a wrap. JJ is finally playing like THE man instead of just trying to fit in. If Zacc can do the same thing we’d be the “one game under .500” hawks forever.

Say we trade Trae for pieces.... we already have too many young cats with high upside developmental talent and not enough minutes to go around. It's diminishing returns at some point

Ok, so we package Trae with some of these young cats and go get somebody.... WHO? The whole argument for trading him is he won't wanna play in a free movement offense where he can't dominate the ball.... what superstar guard does? you're not gonna get a PG on his level and any other position displaces a core young piece you should be building around. Why would we trade for Giannis when we got Giannis 2.0 already?

Unless you think we can get Anthony Edwards or Donovan Mitchell for Trae and a couple 2nds, please shut the fukk up.
