Some of you are acting like he's bytching and moaning about being there after getting his contract and still being on a struggling team. He never said anyone should be feeling bad for him. It's insane how people just make the leap to thinking he wants people to feel sorry for him.

But he was under contract and they would have just tagged him twice. He took the money in a situation he realistically couldn't leave for 3 years.
Or he could have stood his ground and the Browns could have been offered a haul and traded him. Khalil Mack was still great when he got traded for a few first rounders. Other great players have been traded. Eventually a team would have put together a package to acquire him as he's too good to pass up.
