From when you were a kid till today, who's the best worker you've seen in their prime?

Watching old stuff and seeing every major worker in their prime I can think of (from 1980 onwards, not counting Lucha guys though). ..

Mitsuharu Misawa has the best prime of them all, and it ain't really that close tbh. 8 years of incredible piff. We can argue about overall careers, but when it comes to primes, The Elbow Throwing b*stard takes it IMO.

People who have been working since I'm a fan (1997-1998)? Bryan Danielson, no joke.

Bret Hart. I was a big fan of Bret as a kid. And looking back I appreciate him even more 'cause he could have good to great matches with all kinds of opponents. I took a break from wrestling for a long time and since I got back into it in a big way in 05/06, Bryan Danielson / Daniel Bryan has been the best i've seen and has put on some of my favourite matches. Especially during his Ring of Honor Championship reign during that time.

Best worker in their prime, I'd say definitely Misawa. I don't see any other possible option.

So it is what it is....alot of Brets..some trying to claim Japanese knowledge but of course there is one glaring omission over personal reasons and an obvious pretense to act like he never existed. Amusing though.

i grew up on bret, but i'd have to say dragon as i watched him since damn near his beginning, and his roh world title run imo is the best title run since the days of ric flair with the nwa title
