Yeah if I didn't have kids there's no way I would voluntarily watch this flick. Especially daughter's, they all into princess and shyt at early age. But the movie has a bunch of hit songs and that masks a very basic and not very interesting story. Few funny scenes but if and when u have kids there will be no choice sometimes and u will have to bite the bullet and see movies like this.

Probably none since it's the songwriters' problem to come up with new songs.

But on a serious note, Disney knows how much money they make of them soundtracks so they throw millions at them to get the hits. In fact, the story of Frozen was changed drastically (Elsa was supposed to become the villain and Let It Go was originally her 'Be Prepared') after they realized how big a hit they had on their hands with Let It Go and turned it into a female empowerment song, and the entire movie with it.
