Frozen car door warning; be careful

I never heard of this before, but we had an ice storm and all my doors froze shut. So, I tugged on all for a bit but couldn't get them to budge at all and gave up (have another vehicle).

Come back the next day and all the doors had cracked open, left the interior lights on, then killed my battery

I’m guessing he must’ve loosened the door open ever so slightly while trying to get in...enough so that the car light automatically turned on
