Yeah it's low-key depressing seeing Amazon crush all the box stores we grew up going to. Even if you weren't buying shyt, Fry's was a dope place to get lost in for a hour or two. Employees always seemed knowledgeable too.

Dam. I have many good memories at Fry's. They had some bomb ass black friday sales in the past. Got a Nvidia Shield for $130 and all these years later, you can't even get a used one for that price.

Frys would price match or be lower than Amazon the past few years but im sure with actual buildings and less traffic that the margin was razor thin

damn, guess we down to best buy and they always closed earlier than Frys elec

I remember the first of what i would know as frys called incredible universe in oregon. They had a neo geo aes hooked up in full display with samurai shodown playing. I ended up getting some infrared genesis controllers from there. And ive bought so much shyt from real frys over the years. This is like sears, kb, and toys r us going down for me.

Think of like a huge warehouse, Living Spaces or Ikea size, of technology that you can buy from racing cars, to tvs, to consoles or even board games and mostly PC parts their section of Monitors, Monitors! Was bigger than the entire tech section of Best Buy an entire wall dedicated to motherboards and RAM an entire area of PC cases motherboard and processor bundles
