i knew FSU was in trouble when they decided gus malzahn was the answer after watching the offenses he put on the field at UCF. there is a reason auburn boosters took away his play calling powers. UCF was about to take his away permanently before he ran off to FSU. his offense is all gimmicks and racking up useless yardage. didn't shock me that the beat bama either because that was probably his only real positive at auburn compared to other coaches in the league at the time.
Knew they were in trouble after his team quit on him last year and they went 2-10. Theres no coming back from that type of shyt

Mike gives off beta. Not gonna work in a region like the one FSU is in. In Florida/Alabama/Georgia/Mississippi/South Carolina these players are dawgs, offense and especially defense....Mike ain't no dawg. He ain't got that type of nasty in him. Reason number one why he could never recruit the area well players can feel that weak shyt. Then they go visit Bama or Georgia...Who the fukk gonna pick soft ass Mike after that :skip:

Like I'd look at him and his body language always a feeling like even he didn't believe he was good enough to head coach of FSU

Norvell is entitled to receive 85 percent of the outstanding balance on his contract. Since his deal runs through 2031, dismissing him at any point over the next few years will be expensive.
Here's his annual salary moving forward
  • 2026: $10.3 million
  • 2027: $10.45 million
  • 2028: $10.6 million
  • 2029: $10.75 million
  • 2030: $10.9 million
  • 2031: $11.05 million
Fire him and he's looking at 50 million plus guaranteed. Jameis ain't cuttin that check. Casey Weldon and Tamarick Vanover like :unimpressed: if they come callin for bread. Snoop Minnis like :mjtf:
Me and one of the other homies was talking about this but guess who could cut the check?

Honestly, these schools have to stop signing these coaches to crazy deals after 1 good season. They gotta earn like the players do. If they wanna leave and another school is willing to be a sucker, let ‘em.
and it doesn't even make sense in this era of paying players. when they use to have more money than they knew what to do with because of zero labor costs, it was either spend it on coaches, bloated executive staff or facilities. now there are more important things to do with that money: talent acquisition.
