A first time head coach that had no clue how to maintain a culture, thats how. Couldn't make the tough decisions on personnel and players. JJ Consentino being able to hang around the program tells you there wasn't a culture of excellence that would normally swallow up someone so uncommitted to developing. There's a lot of talent there but all of them aren't dogs. True freshman Asante Samuels gets his hands on a ball damn near every game while Levonta getting cooked as a junior. Levonta straight stopped running at the 30 yard line on the TD he got burned on. These upperclassmen saw upperclassmen give up that Oregon debacle, that Houston debacle, Louisville debacle, and Boston College last year.....this quitting shyt is deep in this culture and Wilie will have to sacrifice cutting those cancers out regardless of their ratings/status. Start with Levonta and Noonie.
He went undeated at USF thats how he got the job.
He was average at Oregon. The team this year is better without him.
He is a small school coach that was hyped because of what he did in a weaker conference.Same this with Scott Frost

How many years do y’all give him to fix things?
I know every coach can’t win right away, but Richt & Smart were in BCS bowls their 2nd seasons at UGA, Lincoln Riley didn’t miss a beat with OU, even Paul Johnson found success early when he first got to UGA.
I know FSU did not have a huge roster turnover & the state of FL still produces the best athletes. FSU just looks unprepared & outmatched coach wise every week
