Pretty sure that whole area across from southern Manhattan is pretty nice now.
Or it's getting pretty nice.

A lot of the people who work in the Financial District...Wall Street...Water Street...all those people are probably finding more affordable housing just as nice across that bridge.
Actually thought about hitting up the city today but it's kinda windy and it's gonna rain later.

Yeah I lived there from 99'-2006, right on the same block as Brooklyn Tech HS, near the park...and it has changed big time since then. Shyt I'm shocked every time I go down there and see something new....just the other day I saw that they added a CVS right across from the Nevins station where Chase Bank use to be....now that's not a big deal to most...but realize 15 years ago there was NOTHING really in the area until they began announcing the new stadium.

There's all types of cafes, (white people) bars, boutique and retail stores....and seeing white people just chillin around there is like :wtf:

Even back in the early 2000s there wasn't much there except for hair hat, cheap gold stores, corner stores and africans sellin bootlegs on the side walks

Now it's like the East Village.

They priced me out of there years ago tho....I wanted to buy a spot in University Towers on Jay St. and they wanted like 500k for a 1 bed room :shaq2:

You damn right son!

I had to go there to get a replacement ID from the DMV at the mall on atlantic (the wait there is terrible, but getting an auntie anne's pretzel next to the DMV makes up for it)...real chill neighborhood.
