TurboTax has the easiest way to file crypto so I use it to file my returns.

They definitely bait and switch though. They act like it's free until you get to certain steps then they tell you there's a fee. You can't file for "free" if you have crypto to report.

Filing should be a free govt service for everybody. I don’t get making an industry out of your govt mandated tax obligation.

Those first online filings I did I didn’t even have the money for the up front fees. Of course, they’ll waive the upfront fee…for an additional fee.
