Naw. KD always plays with all stars his whole career. Kawhi didn't with the Raptors.

Naw. KD always plays with all stars his whole career. Kawhi didn't with the Raptors. You can quote all day on this. KD will not win a chip with the Nets.

KD and Kawhi have both played on strong teams their entire careers. KD did play on two bad teams to start his career that won only 20 and 23 games, Kawhi has never played for a team that won less than 50 games...

Both make their respective teams better. Both can elevate teams that need one piece to get over the hump. The only thing I'll give Kawhi over KD is he has now proven he can win with a roster that doesn't have super team connotations. KD hasn't proven that, but he'll get his chance...

But let's not pretend Kawhi played with chumps, though. The Raps won an average of 53 games a year in the five years before they got Kawhi. They were annual postseason flameouts but they were far from being a bad team...

KD is a significantly better player than Kawhi if healthy, and he's significantly ahead of Kawhi on the GOAT board. Durant stepped in The Finals for two seconds and looked as if he was about to snatch Kawhi's heart...

Kawhi has proven alot but he for sure hasn't proven he's a better player than Kevin Durant...

Toronto has amazing looking and expensive real estate...:usureboutthatbreh:

Some business execs offered him a million dollar penthouse for free if he stayed...

I would have taken the offer, stacked my money and reveled in my new team.

The clippers breh??!? Seriously???:vinceshocked:

I agree with you. But IMO I think KD played with big stars his whole career vs Kawhi. I know Kawhi played on the Spurs but was with an old Duncan and Parker. KD has played with Westbrook, Harden, Curry. Thompson, Green, etc. I think you get my point. :mjlol:

I'm not saying KD sucks. He just acts like a bytch and I wouldn't want him on my team over Kawhi. Kawhi is the type of player you can build around. KD is too much of a diva. :yeshrug:

He played with Tony Parker in his prime, Parker was the #1 on that team those last Finals years, and their clear go to player in the playoffs. So I wouldn't shortchange playing with TP because he was old...

Point understood otherwise, though!

You said “he said”. Where did “he” ever say that
In a post game interview they asked him about free agency and what he thought about first coming to Toronto and he said "y'all know what the original destination was..."
