i'm not a vegan yet....but to make an ignorant statement like this is extremely asinine. i can't speak for others, but i wasn't born a veg-head. just like you, i was introduced to pork, beef, fish and chicken at a young age. i grew up and learned to love the taste of meaty dishes, but as a transitioning vegan, i choose not to consume those anymore......so i have to improvise.
