I've experienced a less extreme version of this and it is NOT FUN.

Came home wasted from being out one night. Had 2 female roommates, tip toed into the house at 4 am and had the munchies. I boiled a pot of spaghetti to eat and had the stove on high cuz i was tryna get that shyt ready ASAP. I wasn't wearing a shirt while cooking like a dumbass. Started stirring the overboiling water and it was boiling over and shooting out as i stirred (with a ladle) a few drops hit me in the stomach and I flinched cuz that shyt was hot. This caused me to jerk my arm holding the ladle as a response and I ended up throwing a ladle full of boiling water right at my stomach I was just drunk layin on the floor screaming in agony. My roommates woke up to this scene and that was the beginning of them hating my guts

Had whatever degree burns you get from boiling water all on my midsection shyt was atrocious and nothing I could do could get it to stop stinging, ice only helped temporarily but it was just painful as fukk
